Former Miss Australia

Emily Egan was proudly crowned Miss Galaxy Australia in 2022, after six years in the pageant industry and three attempts at the Galaxy Title. Sole representative from Canberra, Emily cemented her place as the first ACT winner of a Miss Galaxy Australia title. 

This opportunity opened a significant number of doors for Emily, as she spent 2022 travelling across the country for appearances and represented her country, Australia at the prestigious Miss Galaxy International Pageant in the USA. With dedicated preparation in the lead up and a special team behind her, Emily placed in the top 10 internationally, making her family and country extremely proud. 

Emily spent her entire year of reign raising funds for charity and was named the Cancer Council's sun smart ambassador for young people. For her efforts, she was also nominated for both ACT volunteer of the year and ACT young citizen of the year. 

This experience profoundly grew both Emily's media and social media presence. She now continues to use her platform to advocate for causes which she is passionate about and regularly engages with pageantry in different forms.
